Gunite pools & spas — Prospect, Kentucky
Draw your pool. See the number.
We build twelve pools a year, start to finish, with our own crews. No sales office, no commission, and no three-week wait to find out what it costs.
Design it here, and we'll price it before you call.

Every pool here needs a barrier. Kentucky requires a fence at least four feet high with self-latching gates before we can fill it. Budget two to five thousand if your yard isn't already enclosed — people forget this one until inspection.
Numbers assume a level lot with truck access and no rock. Excavation is where surprises live: if we hit shale at four feet, that changes things and we'll tell you the day we find it, not on the final invoice.
Nine to fourteen weeks, in this order.
Sheet A-2 · Sequence
- 01
Layout & dig
We paint the shape on your grass first so you can walk it. Nothing gets excavated until you've stood in it and agreed.
Week 1 - 02
Steel & plumbing
Rebar cage tied on site, main drains and returns run, then the county inspects before anything is buried.
Weeks 2–3 - 03
Gunite
Shot in one day. Then it cures for a month while we do the deck — this is the part everyone finds slow, and it can't be rushed.
Week 4 - 04
Tile, coping & deck
Waterline tile and coping stone set by hand, then the deck poured or paved around it.
Weeks 5–9 - 05
Plaster & fill
Interior finish goes on and the hose goes in the same afternoon — plaster can't be left dry. Then a week of brushing and balancing.

What people ask before they call
Sheet A-4
Why is your estimator lower than the quote I got?
Ours covers the pool, deck, and standard equipment on a level lot. It doesn't cover retaining walls, hauling spoil off site, rock removal, or landscaping. Those are the four things that separate a $60,000 pool from a $95,000 one, and none of them are visible until someone walks the yard.
Can I put a diving board on it?
Only on a pool long enough to be safe — in practice about 34 feet with a proper hopper. Set the estimator to diving and it'll tell you if what you've drawn is too short. Most of our customers skip the board and put the money into the deck.
What does it cost to run each year?
Chemicals, electricity, and water run about $1,400 to $2,000 a season here. A heater adds $600 to $1,200 depending on how much of April and October you want.
Do you do the fence?
No, but we'll tell you exactly what the county will accept and hand you two fencing contractors we trust. Getting this wrong is the most common reason a pool sits finished and unfilled.
Send us the yard.
A photo from the back door tells us more than a paragraph. If you drew something above, include the numbers and we'll tell you straight away whether it fits.
